When I compare to Slack, Teams, or even some AWS outages, it's about industry standard.

If you haven't worked with one, you might believe it's a myth. Some folks, in the right place at the right time, are just better. Probably way more than 10x better, but dragged down by the same meetings overhead, at more than 10x

Info leaks have negligible provable harms. It's a real moral hazard. It's not that there aren't harms, it's that it's nearly impossible to link any harms back to any specific leak.

From what I can understand, AFA meant that a manufacturer could lose their license to Google Play Services on _all_ of their devices if they produced _any_ devices using an Android fork. This is a clear abuse of market power.

If all the Agile people and all the Project managers got stuck in an endless status meeting, no one would ever notice.

You're kidding right? Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Instant Video, CBS All-Access, whatever, they all do basically the same thing, and the only differentiator for my parents is the content.

If the cost to complete a project divided by its expected annual revenue is more than the P/E ratio of your stock, you're in a sunk-cost fallacy.

It's at least a design pattern to consider. Main tradeoffs are cost, expressiveness, and fine-grained testing/control. But leveraging infra does provide me with much joy.
