Not sure what you mean but response.json() is promise that can fail with parse/read error. It's where error handling should happen making it imperative doesn't solve anything

Where are you from that 3G is "emerging"? I think we have like 90% LTE coverage for major providers, just a question of hardware supporting that.

And why would you want it? What is your use case? Making something async introduces a lot of complexity with no obvious benefit. It's also not as simple as it looks. For instance all db access in django is synchronous at the moment and

It's not necessarily annoying but it adds cognitive load if you are trying to learn new language. I guess it's an OK sacrifice to have homoiconicity.

I got book about clojure and was really trying to get into it. Some of the concepts really resonated with me but i can't get over the lisp syntax.
