I absolutely agree that A/B testing in the way described in the article is a catalyst for creating dark patterns in a UI. Because dark patterns work, they deliver short term increases in particular metrics. The author's idea is th

Can you clarify what those numbers try to show? The point I made is that I don't expect a "lot of braindrain" from Europe and that this concerns a tiny percentage willing to move to the US. What is the relation with the tax r

You need to let go of the idea that every moment of your life needs to have purpose or some productive output. Luckily you already come to that conclusion: a way to reset the brain and moving your body is always a good idea.

Whilst this draft bill is laughable and outrageous, isn't a similar concept in the making for the EU? One not emphasizing children but copyrights and such instead? Article 13, I think it's called. I consider them conceptually simi

I agree that modern society is not set up to encourage having children as well as that people start about a decade too late with it. But still, even in societies with excellent maternity leave and child support, people do not have more chil

No, they won't. Even in developed countries where having children is financially manageable, people do not want kids. Less than 2 on average. The wealthier, the less kids. It's a consistent international conclusion. When people do
