I'm just a bit allergic to unnecessary dependencies and Guava is a massive blob of a jar. It's not properly modularised so you can't just pick the bits you need, if you want to use a single feature from it you have to include

This looks pretty much like Javalin https://github.com/javalin/javalin , which has been around for a while. Also, libraries that have a dependency on Google Guava always make me feel a bit queasy....
