Ha ha I know, but it isn't like that. APIs are always written as REST but the systems serving those APIs are not REST so everyone starts off building lots of GET APIs and then progress steams to a halt because it's tough to write

Seasoned IKEA customer here. They have two types of products, one type is durable and the other is not and it's pretty easy to tell the difference from the price. Desks and bookcases are good examples of the former.

I grew up in a nearby English seaside town around the time the photographs were taken and as a child I was taken to the places in the photos by my family. These were once bustling places full of holidaying industrial workers but as the UK&

This is the real concern for me too. But in the end I think WhatsApp has gravity even if moving to Signal is minimal effort.

Your approach doesn't allow the vendor to reach the critical mass required to keep a product updated and evolving. I for one appreciate products that evolve and improve.

You sound like you want to prolong the feedback into some sort of collaborative discussion, instead of getting to the point. Quick feedback is meant to be ... Quick ... To save both parties from too many negative feelings

It isn't low code, it's BPM, and it's always more trouble than it's worth. But they currently have some of the best sales teams in the world. TBH big businesses should only pay for commercial Kafka and RPA.

I work with low code solutions and they are not model driven, they are just drag and drop GUI builders with some workflow capabilities. Pega is low code, Appian is low code, but they all need code in the end to do clever stuff. Typical App

Whatever anyone else says here, you're on the money. In the UK we overreact to almost any issue and no longer just in the red top newspapers, but also on radio and TV. It's been like this for decades and it's messed up.

Gotta agree with you - but my point was 'low code garbage' - this is what happens in enterprises if a monolith is the goal; if you rule out monolith then you ain't suffering with Pega, Appian, Salesforce etc. Monoliths are g

Monoliths always sound like a good idea but they always lead to some low code platform garbage that the org has settled upon. Microservices stay as proper code.
