It's still a bit clunky. Not every app supports every video format, and RSS doesn't cleanly do fallbacks. Our goal right now is to create a publishing platform that smooths over some of these hiccups (for example, generating backw

Somewhat of a plug (apologies), but we're bootstrapping an open platform for video on top of RSS to solve this problem. It can play videos on (most) podcasting apps people already have on their phones. Here's an example: https:&#

You're arguing against a strawman. Strong Town's "growth ponzi scheme" isn't about bonds (from my understanding). It's referring to the practice of inheriting or overbuilding infrastructure, and then being unab

From my understanding, you can have productive low-density areas. The problem comes from places building "big-city" infrastructure in near-rural levels of density.

By range, I meant the amount a non-athletic person might use for commuting. Most people can easily go 20 miles on an electric bike, but have difficulty going 20 miles on a normal bike. Also Rad power bikes are in the ~$1000 range and are gr

I’m convinced most people haven’t realized just how good ebikes have gotten. ~$1000 gets you basically a slow, mini-motorcycle. It’s dramatically cheaper than a car, longer range than a bike, and wonderful in cities.

The gist is that Chesa Boudin typically chooses not to prosecute many low-level crimes, such as drug possession. That has led some situations where someone was arrested for a low-level crime, not prosecuted by the DA, set free, and later go
