Please suggest an EU based competitor to Cloudflare services with comparable performance and pricing in the same order of magnitude.

> They can be compliant by not dealing with PII. Sure, if your company provides no web services, and doesn't actually have any customers, this is possible. For everyone else however, that is a ridiculous suggestion.

This applies to you processing the personal data, but not you transferring it to an American provider, which is entirely illegal even if necessary for the operation of your service. The "trans-atlantic data privacy framework" can&

It is not possible to comply with this law as a small or even fairly large business if it prevents you from using the only viable major cloud services which are required for the operation of your business. Do you want the EU to delete the r

Insane parts like being unable to use any American services, even though there are no EU based competitors that are viable to use, don't. Or perhaps it's now actually impossible for an American company to be compliant, in which ca

I don't even want your data. I use no Google Analytics, don't collect anything not required for operation of the services, and also don't sell the non-existent data to anyone. But the thing is these laws keep escalating. Now

I am so glad I didn't start my company in the EU.

The trick for Germans is to find a remote job at an American company. Much better pay - and you don't have to live in America! Win all around.

Reminds me of the time where someone shared the pdf for our final exam the day before it was going to be held, including the sample solutions and grading key. I still have absolutely no idea how it was obtained. It certainly made for good l

Let's do this, and then also delete software patents in the US.

What stops an attacker from generating millions or billions of requests to your bucket, generating unaffordable bills from the class B charges? When using the "free" cache product, solving this is Cloudflare's problem - they

It's pretty weird that this is being made accessible before the more generally useful R2 storage.

"To get started, we ask that you fill out our form, and we’ll get in touch with you." Yeah how about no. They pulled the same nonsense with R2 storage. Unless you're a known enterprise user, nobody is going to reply.

Would be nice to see R2 storage actually accessible rather than limited to a small number of enterprise customers.
