So the farmers does not want to give access to the land to the people. Maybe the government should remind them how they got their land in the first place?

This is what I meant. Or in this particular case, if the landowners are so stubborn that they can not even allow for a road crossing their land, they could at least hint at the idea?

"why do you think it is good to roll back the clock and justify doing it today?" They could justify giving it back?

I am not saying property rights are bogus, but they are also not a god-given principle. This is why I reacted. There are lots of ways to draw the line. Allowing people to walk in a forest you "own" is one of them.

As a matter of principle, what gives you the right to own a part of the Earth? Who did you buy it from and who did they buy it from?

Yeah. I guess you attacked the point that was easiest to refute. (Without adding any actual numbers though.) For the sake of the discussion, it was a mistake to include it.

The point is that you can say the same thing about the ships they sail to Bangladesh for breaking up. Sail them to Bangladesh, they are responsible for "recycling", problem solved. The problem is that the place they end up looks l

Also the clothes industry! The clothes brands claim to recycle cotton, but use 3rd party "recycling companies" to ship the textiles to Africa, where they just burn it in huge waste heaps. With huge environmental issues. https:&#x

100 steps a minute sounds like normal walking speed. With 70 cm step length it means 4 km/h, which is slow walking. 20-25 steps/minute, with 70cm step length will take you to the toilet in one minute.

I am not in the USA, but 300 steps raised my eyebrows! Even 3000 steps seems low on a regular day. This is what you'd get from just moving around in the house?

Just for reference, and since I work with Trino these days. The benefit it gives me is that I almost never have to care about RAM or CPU. It just scales in all directions. The negative compared to vector languages is that order is not guara

I love that analogy with birds! Yes we figured out how to build aircraft. But it can not be compared to a bird flying. Neither in terms of efficiency or elegance.

How do you see the competition from Trino and Athena in your case? Depends a lot on what you want to do with the data of course, but if you want to filter and slice/dice it, my experience is that it is really fast and stable. And if yo

Anyone with some KSP hours tracked will understand. Thinking about my poor heavyweight rocket that barely makes it to orbit and when I compare them to the sleek elegant designs by Scott Manley that makes it to Mun and back and. Sigh.
