Wow, I didn't think Self was still alive. Ole Agesen's PHD (about the Self type inference) was the best reference I used for my Master's thesis.

Actually, it's just about 800MB of source code with 150MB of external dependencies. I never counted the lines of code until today but apparently just for the main language there are over 9 MLOC. Of course, this doesn't actually matter as I

Finding the root cause of failure is essential, especially when you are working with large codebases. For my biggest running project, I customize about 1GB of source code not written by me. Every bug needs to be chased until one actually un

They are still too expensive by limiting you on the number of private repositories and not on storage or something else (requests, etc). If you are a small business or a freelancer you have a lot of small projects each into a separate repo

I think the article should just say "because it's in vogue" and "because Twitter did it", or something along the lines. I would say there are few startups that need APIs the way Twitter needed, for example.

Let's see, Amazon pulled back 1984 because they figured out they didn't have the license for it. They returned the money and fixed the problem without fuss (kinda). If you were in a situation like you said to unknowingly include unlicensed

I don't see the point in this. NaCl isn't about showing how slow JS is, it's about allowing people run code written in C/C++ with a recompile plus some glue code. Totally different matters. People forget how much C/C++ code there is out the
