Hmm, I don't have this issue. Perhaps because I use a two-line prompt? export PS1="\n\W\$(parse_git_branch) $ " parse_git_branch() { git branch 2> /dev/null | sed -e '/^[^*]/d' -e 's/* \(.*\)/(\1)/'; }

Fantastic! I can't say I'm enjoying the source code much but nice things are often quite messy under the covers. Nice work!

I haven't experienced that but the lock button on my iPhone 4 did break. Now the phone cannot be locked manually. I have set the auto-lock timeout to be 1 minute however.

I would like a different SpringBoard in which there's just a single vertical scrolling list of icons with the app name to the right instead of the current horizontal pages and app groups. This list could be sorted by last-used-date or alpha

"There are 7 different apps that respond to “fb259197467584”" From [1] we know this is a Facebook app with appID 259197467584. From [2] we know that the app is something called AppMakr which from [3] looks like some sort of crappy iOS app g

To be fair, "more than enough" depends on the problem being addressed. It's trivial to have tens of thousands of concurrent connections on a $20/month VPS. You get 100 concurrent connections on PusherApp for $20/month. That's a huge differe

Pusher seems very expensive for the number of connections supported per tier.

Only http traffic is routed to your web processes so a different protocol (I don't know, IRC) won't be routable to one of your deployed processes, correct? Also, how much RAM can a process use? What happens if I run Redis and fill it up wit

I am a big fan of the M+ fonts [1], especially "M+ 1mn" at 24pt. Here's a screenshot of iTerm2 on Mac OS X: http://i.imgur.com/PjfOY.png [1] http://mplus-fonts.sourceforge.jp/mplus-outline-fonts/index-...

"I don't think most hunger-gatherers farmed until they had to..." Is there a term that describes a typo like this, wherein a word relevant to the context is used instead of the "correct" word for the sentence?
