The problem is that people should agree beforehand on the data format and schema for every new app. That's impossible. Actually, any interchangeability is impossible. Apps are different, thus they have different data schemas. If they h

Good point. I believe you can only do that distinction (business vs toy) after the fact. So it offers no guidance at all. Was Dropbox a toy in the beggining? You can argue. Was Google a toy in the beggining? You can argue. Was Uber a toy in

If you want to help someone, just hang out on IRC and look for people asking questions.

Yes, it is crazy. For these cases we shouldn't be using SaaS at all. Installed applications can still be useful, I guess.

If a new version is available on the store it will update automatically from time to time. You can trigger the auto-updates from your extensions settings page.

This. I always thought that any blockchain could only work if there was a reward system (otherwise you're dealing with trusted parties and thus no blockchain in the strict sense is needed), and thus it never made any sense to me to see

The source code is on Glitch, I guess it's open. But it is literally 30 lines of code. If it gets interested users I'll implement safer endpoints, anti-spam and other things like storing the submissions.

My solution is to use an isomorphic static-site SPA hybrid, as generated by https://github.com/fiatjaf/sitio , for example. The idea is to load only the React components and the data needed for each route at load time.
