I would love to know if people are actually paying for this, it would open a new world for me. I've written a SaaS not as niche as this, but also useful for people printing stuff on paper: https://templates.alhur.es/ (

The links at the bottom are all interesting. Specially jl[1], which uses a functional, Haskell-like language. The wrong one is the link to jid, which has a very poor language that claims to be like jq, but actually is just dot syntax and no

It's kinda odd to write imperative expressions like for-loops all in one line without brackets, also the necessity of 'this'. I guess these are the downsides of using a Javascript-like language.

Yeah, you're right. Probably I didn't get the correct linguistic context. But you never know, maybe in another language he would have done a much better project, maybe not. Actually, in alternative universes everything would proba

I meant he could have said: "Because I love Rust, I'm giving this for free to be used in Rust codebases", instead of "this would never exist if not for Rust". Or maybe he's serious, maybe the Rust ecosystem lit

That's odd, because it could indeed exist without the Rust ecosystem. The author just opted to write it in Rust.

Sincerely, I feel depressed reading that the government is away things to people (as the money ultimately will leave my pocket for that); or that a new drug may solve many problems (as I feel I'll have to do my own research to evaluate

Everybody is complaining. I like this. Classes should be abolished, though. And perhaps this should be published as a different React version, like "React Classless" or whatever. Classes with special method names, manual binding o

I agree with you, but I've also tried other frameworks and there isn't a single one that is all-around better than React. Unless you're willing to migrate to other compile-to-js languages.

Seriously, what is the point? Even if this is a perfectly honest and functioning system, if you're using a currency that is pretty much like the dollar, regulated as the dollar, inflated as the dollar, why not just use the dollar?
