Very reasonable criticism. I'm now happy for never having used Signal.

C'mon, it's a side project. Let the person develop some functionality before expecting him to add all this useless legal mumbo-jumbo.

I didn't manage to use it enough to get to these issues. I stopped at the point that I had to keep track of an enourmous build.nix file in all my project directories that did a lot of magic if I wanted to use Nix for Go or JS package m

Also, there are a lot of people who think disk space is an issue. See https://pnpm.js.org/ for example. (Ironically, pnpm doesn't have an auto cleanup feature.)

But it has automatic and safe cleanup, right? So I can use only what I need at any point in time instead of having an opaque directory full of unused stuff I don't know if I can delete or not.

Webpack is a big mess that always has some bug and shortcoming a new major breaking release upcoming, because it tries to do so much. Browserify does one thing and does it very well. I still would like to not have to use any of these, howev

All I wanted was a way to safely and easily cleanup my $GOPATH. I don't have a lot disk space and $GOPATH takes up most of it. This thing apparently doesn't solve my problem. `go mod tidy` simply removes a dependency from a module

Thank you very much. Actually, I don't know what are people trying to achieve when they run these things. Did you had a problem cjdns was solving?

Wow, that's nice. I'm going to start using that now. cjdns always seems so intimidating when I look at it, Yggdrasil looks super friendly and easy.

Shouldn't these two cases/features have different names? They're completely different. Calling both "VPN" is wrong.

Is it possible to use cjdns for that kind of thing? I'm genuinely asking as I don't understand it. Once I tried to set up a VPN using some odd Windows software (OpenVPN, maybe?) and the results were disastrous. I didn't under

So, can I easily host the server? ZeroTier is great, but hosting the server is very complicated (I'm not going to stop using it now, since it's so easy and is already set, but it's good to know of alternatives).

Why do we need an "app store"? Don't we have the web? And Google the search engine itself? Wouldn't it be better to developers to distribute their APKs and other people to make curated lists of apps?

Well, when React first came out no one was convinced by it. It took more than 2 years, I guess, before everybody suddenly got convinced and started claiming it was the best thing and so on.

Hooks is awesome! I love hooks! They make everything so simpler. There are less names, less bloat, less stuff to remember. Contrary to what others have been saying, I think hooks is much more explicit than the current class-based components
