If we aren't using TCP anymore does that mean all network congestion tooling developed in the last 30 years are suddenly worthless and quality of service will degrade everywhere?

So HTTP/2 was crap all the time but was still forced upon everybody with the repeated discourse: "it's much much better"? And HTTPS, which is much slower than HTTP, was said to be much much faster BECAUSE with HTTPS you

Oh, I was talking about AppImage, not Snap. Sorry. I actually tried the Snap thing too, I don't remember how it went but I would say it was bad. I think I couldn't find a way to search for packages from the CLI.

This happens because people need pretty fancy UIs. And companies want to provide these UIs. We should be using text and structured data for all services by default. Companies should be providing simple, very simple text (or JSON if you want

This is already solved by Linux, as you probably know. You can just use groups and users if you want. Also you can run Docker containers if you want, just don't force me to do it, as they're stupid.

I don't understand the whole Snap thing. Not a single snap has ever worked in any of my computers in the past 5 years (I've tried maybe 5 or 6), and they always say they'll add themselves to the system. Add where? Where are t

Are there other frameworks that run on OpenResty? I like the idea very much and I like Lua, but I don't like this class/ORM thing.

When GitHub started they didn't have that. Now they do and every time a programmer writes a nice tool and posts it here the first comment is from someone telling him to change the project name.

"Upload to IPFS" means save to your local IPFS repo and "pin" it. Means you'll never be able to find it again unless you keep the hash forever in a different, external database. Then you should never change computer

Me too, because I was storing it on IPFS. IPFS had a minor bug and I've lost all the references to the data. You know, the data is still there, I just don't know what hashes correspond to each objects.
