I don't think anyone in the container dev community thinks that containers means LXC only. Even back in 2013, docker's front end api was designed to support other runtimes such as VMs and chroot. Perhaps this is a marketing story

I personally don't use AWS for personal projects because of the lack of a cap. I would rather see my system suspended rather than continue to pay beyond my budget.

The increase in traffic in some areas can be a safety issue. Close to where I live is a lower school. During rush hour, many drivers choose to drive down the parallel side street for about 5 or 6 blocks to bypass a minute of traffic. Often,

If you want to avoid libpnet or libpcap, you can use socket and recv directly. Here's a quick example demonstrating socket & recv capturing all packets on all interfaces. https://gist.github.com/fkautz/0104084f

Have you ever seen a container's system time deviate from a host? This makes sense with boot2docker since it runs in a VM but I can't think of a reason this would happen in a container.

I'd prefer to see chronic drunk drivers stop doing so and rely on something like this instead. I suspect the cost of paying for taxis will be less than the cost of all the emergency services, post crash analysis, and road modifications
