The decline is only one-sided. Facebook down, TikTok up. The mean amount of social network users is not declining at all.

I really don’t get this argument. Facebook is just people. The same people you find on Facebook are everywhere else. You think ig is clean? Let me introduce you to my antivax cousin. Junk is everywhere and I don’t understand how people focu

It’s not trivial and it’s not groundbreaking. Node has had an HTTP client since its inception, this is just a different API. It’s “great” just because it’s a decent abstraction that’s also available in browsers. The issue in the JavaScript

Given how quickly the App Store was introduced (just one year later) I’m betting that they never had the intention to go web-app only. They probably only needed extra time to figure out the experience for both developers and users (from nat

HIV, HPV, herpes, what’s the fourth one? At least for HPV there’s a vaccine though.

I wouldn't exclude it, it worked well. Let's not forget that they eventually still unlocked the phone with a similar tool anyway. It's only possible that these tools weren't as readily available on 2015.

To be fair it also happens on my MacBook. I charged my computer and placed it on my bag, asleep and unplugged, before a trip. I was not pleased to find it hot in the morning and at 60% battery.

I’m confident you could technically eat a lot of things. We all eat some types of rocks after all. What differentiates edibles from non-edibles is only taste, outcome (good or bad for you), and whether anyone tried it first. I consider je

That didn't work for me. My domain is still set up with G Suite with SPF and all so Google is technically fully capable of sending emails on my domain’s behalf, but if I got the "me@example.com via example@gmail.com" text reg

I find turning "at most 16 years" into "nearly 20 years" egregious! What I hope is that Google will at least have an option to turn those accounts into regular Google accounts instead of being in yet another limbo stat

Can that completely hide that real sender (me@gmail.com) without setting up a SMTP server? Seeing "me@gmail.com on behalf of me@example.com" or ending up in spam would be a deal breaker.

I haven’t used namespacing in years. The point people are trying to make is that if you do need “advanced jQuery features” maybe you shouldn’t use jQuery. And the basics are also covered by native API, so the same conclusion applies. I woul

I generally replace jQuery with something like: $ = (s, p = document) => p.querySelector(s) $$ = (s, p = document) => p.querySelectorAll(s) If I’m feeling arrayish I’ll wrap the latter in [...qSA] so I can use .map and th

Have you read the project’s license? That is literally how it works. It’s not even an original project by Marak, as it’s clearly shown in there. The only fault here is cutting the owner out of the repo, but given the security breach it’s st

The bigger win here are projects that increasingly do more and do it faster. You can essentially replace babel’s hydra with typescript (single dependency) and do it faster too. TS also essentially supports “preset-env” via the target proper

We’re not saying “what came first? The chicken or the zygote?” Consider the context before trying to correct people. You’re just being pedantic for no reason.

Huh you’re 100% wrong because in the part of Asia I live the opposite is true. What country are you referring to? Maybe that’s true only in South Korea and China where local brands have a healthy share.
