It would be nice if America had factories that produced things rather than having to import all of our crap from China. Maybe then there wouldn't be 100+ ships waiting to be unloaded in LA.

I've actually been off and on programming for a few years and have done my tour in tutorial hell on Udemy. Just thought maybe a bootcamp would give me experience programming with a team like you would at a job. I also have a unique opp

Are there any reputable bootcamps? Serious question as someone who wants to transition from IT Management to programming.

Yeah, I daily drive a 6 year old Macbook Pro and it feels just as fast as when I first got it. I'm sure you can pick one up on eBay for a few hundred bucks.

Framework can't compete with the M1 chip unfortunately. I love what Framework is doing though.

People need to be proactive and get tested if they feel a sickness coming on. It seems like there are a few good treatments if you catch it early. When you are hooked up to a ventilator it is too little too late.

I don't typically drive on 205 to be honest, but I-5 is still covered in garbage and downtown is unbelievably bad. Really sad to see and I avoid downtown as much as possible because of it. It's been a couple weeks since I've

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to come to the logical conclusion that catch and release of criminals will lead to more crime.

I don't think it has to do with defunding the police at all. I do think is has to do with removing the ability of the police to make arrests or when they do the person is just released. In Portland, when they arrest someone, the DA jus

People said that instagram page Portlandlookslikeshit was an exaggeration. Just drive through Portland for a few hours. The city is completely trashed. Even just driving through on I-5 you see trash all over the sides of the road.

I think it has to do with gangs and and high rate of drug addiction in this area. I live in the Pacific NW where heroin/meth is running rampant and homelessness is everywhere. The city just looks trashed now.

What is hard for me to take seriously is that everyone just wants a pill or a shot to solve their problems. If you are obese, COVID is one of many things that could/will kill you. Every human has to eat but they have a choice to eat he

There is actually a very safe and free method to prevent obesity. It's called eating a healthy diet. Count calories and watch the pounds fall off. If you really want to speed up the process you can throw in some exercise.

Obesity costs the US healthcare system 147 billion per year. We need Health Passports right now if cost is an issue. 5.7 over 3 months is nothing compared to the cost of obesity.
