Russians did this with the German Giant Schnauzer and created the Black Russian Terrier. Their Giants are also significantly larger than the ones with German heritage, but both are recognized as the same breed.

I have FreeBSD systems that use gigs of swap with gigs of memory free. If you have a Linux system with that much swap usage it's usually about to crash (as it struggling under memory pressure) People should stop monitoring swap usage

They have to know for fraud investigation. I believe it's also why many companies can't upgrade: they need a new POS that can log the transaction as stripe, chip or NFC/Apple aPay

Funny, but Linux is the only unix-like OS I've ever run where using swap means you have a problem. Other OSes have much more intelligent memory management.
