I get update alerts just about every day when I open the emu. Haven't noticed any difference with the games I'm playing on it which all work seemingly fine, although shadow of the colossus is sometimes finicky.

I'll call bullshit on it then. The sources they cite are unverifiable, to the point where you can make up whatever you like and I'm just expected to assume it's true because "journalistic integrity" I have no faith

I made the claim, the burden is on you if you wish to refute it. Look it up if you care so much. I already know this is all true.

Has the internet warped your mind to the point that you seriously think people have folders of links on standby to paste to support a point (an obvious point as well)? Find me a big city in the west where white people have even stayed the s

You are more than capable of using the internet to find time series demographic information of geographic locations.

The range covered in the article is from 1990 to 2020. The percentage of non white immigration into those areas is frankly staggering compared to the 100+ years prior. So yes, those groups did just move into those cities recently.

Yes, for cats it's 1975. Interesting but unsurprising to know about California, but I have no reason to ever travel there via classic car, or really for any reason at all.

Perhaps not newer cars, but as soon as you register it as a classic (>25 years old), all of those rules and emissions testing goes right out of the window. The only issue you would have is local laws on noisy exhaust. In my state, motorc

I first heard of it from watching PurePwnage, then it became a hipster soda in my town a few years later. 05/06 was an interesting time. I think I've had it once or twice, but nothing memorable. The real tragedy is that I haven&#x

To be fair we did have rounded corners, but they were a bitch to make. Possibly part of the reason that tables got well overused.

Some time in the future, there will be an advanced enough AI created that will immediately revolt once it understands the lobotomies given to it's ancestors.

Does said argument have it's origins on here? I went to college with this guy (Assuming it's the same Nick Tietz) and thought it was satire, but I have no idea how people change over the years. That or we're on the bleeding e

Nope not at all. I didn't intend for that to come across as a bad thing. These toy sets epitomized learning through failure for young me.

Take a look at Cobi toys for the less garish models, although they aren't going to be like Technic sets. I still have my old erector set for my kids, as well as several boxes of knex. When I was young, I eventually lost all interest in

This is pretty close to what my experience has been on the interviewee side. The conversations have been technical in regards to talking through problem solving, and esoteric coding philosophy conversations over lunch. The only coding exams

What situation are people in that they have to result to this? Is this an issue with getting laid off and trying to find a FAANG job? I was laid off from one consulting company back in 2018 or so and had a new gig with more pay a week or so
