The real problem is that people are usually blind: almost nobody reasons about philosophic implications of induction. What I mean is this: can we know that in the portion of knowledge we don't know there isn't an even worse proble

The point isn't big or small packages. Is unregulated public registries. Some quality/security should be enforced. Like some linux distributions do.

The article should probably read: we should write more simple websites. A few lines of css does the trick, usually. That's what I do in my tiny website http://scriptkid.it I learned from someone who posted here on HN the &l

This can be fine in two scenarios: - solo dev - enforcing its use in your company Otherwise big messes will inevitably arise. In the second case, new people with their (correct) git workflow will suffer.

This device isn't really needed. When the water boils put in the pasta and turn off the heat, with the lid on. Wait the usual amount of time. This doesn't work well with pasta that has lots of starch (barilla hasn't much).

I've been using it for years with great pleasure. I don't regret anything about lightroom and photoshop used previously. Some of my pictures I edited with it: http://federicobonfiglio.it

Squiggles aren't AI generated. Winning awards in literature means very little (time survival is what means to me. And given two people you'll get different definitions of what meaning is...)

Experienced programmers may not need to solve those riddles. Try measuring performance at complex problems they face everyday. I don't mean to know that all seniors perform better at this task. But at least measure something of interes

Very bad and useless title. Tell me what the article talks about and not clickbaity things, which aren't even that much of a bait given he's a pretty well known artist.

Interesting, those looking for similar ideas may look into memetic theory. "The meme machine" by Blackmore and not exactly related but a great book that invented the word meme is "The selfish gene" by Dawkins
