The contents of that post have not been relevant for decades. I would recommend giving Free Pascal a whirl if you haven't. FPC can even compile to JavaScript and it works with WebGL https://github.com/genericptr/Pa

It's going to be a lot better thanks to proton. I cannot stress enough how well proton works. And if you have games that are not on steam take a look at Lutris. Lutris has worked wonders managing my Wine versions for online games suc

This is an artifact of not allowing 32-bit applications on Catalina. It seems silly to blame Valve over this. Have you considered setting up bootcamp for gaming? Otherwise you can pick up fairly cheap refurbished laptops off eBay or amazon.

It's interesting I just started learning Racket and I can already whole heartedly endorse it. The language is incredibly well documented and has a lot of image manipulation tools you can get started with right away. This is great for

I fooled around with a Spark java, j2html, and Bulma css web app for a prototype back in 2017 (2018?) and it killed me how nice it was. The only tooling I needed was Intellij and the app started in milliseconds along with supporting hot rel
