I think a big difference between Zune and Apple's CSAM issue is that there were people (literally dozens of us!) who LOVED the Zune.

My life as a web developer at that time revolved around navigating the differences between Netscape and IE, which were the two browsers my company's product supported at the time. It was a painful life.

It really is. A past company made an application that was in the app store for a couple years. Three different customers paid us to white-label the app for them, so we ended up with three additional versions that were new app packages and

I went on a business trip to Japan in the early 2000's. On our second night, we had Shabu-Shabu, and didn't realize just how much it was doing to cost. It ended up being about $600 for four of us. In order to stay remotely in b

My one and only truly TDD project went brilliantly, but there were specific circumstances. In this project, I created the back-end and API while an outsourced team built the UI. What made it work well was that I wrote the tests AND the sp

I've been a back-end dev at one of those places. When the front-end is comprised of Android, iOS, Web, and even Windows Phone, a senior and productive back-end team can easily serve multiple front-end teams. In my case, a back-end tea
