Like it's often the case this is not just a problem of money. You can research virtually anything and not everything will yield anything of value to the human race. We need to have some direction. Epidemiology for example, sounds like

Very cool product. Nowadays I don't play enough games to ever justify paying for something like that but I can totally see past me do it to play on my college notebook while in between classes :P

Cities like Tokyo have solved most of that for now decades. Def depends on whether the government is willing to make the investment (heavy) into the right amount and level of infrastructure. When you know that Los Angeles used to have over

Would be nice for (a) company/ies to do the same and allow for remote work while partnering with online program(s) (a la udemey & co or even some Harvard online). That way, it would let people all over the world access it and pool

It says salary, tuition & vacation. So I wouldn't be surprised if that's a $160k estimation for the whole thing for the 4 years! But yeah, either way, better than $60k/y in tuition you end up owing!

But do they though? Does project zero review all products made by google on top of the rest of the web? I doubt their oversight happens at the silicon designing stages. Maybe once it's out they battle test it, but I doubt it'd hap

I think it's safe to assume that anything you can do to make the patient feel more comfortable and take their mind away from their situation will help with stress and anxiety. It's like the dentist chairs with a netflix table abov

That makes sense. I guess there is always a community of Early adopters with disposable income willing to pay high dollar to play with the phone and contribute to it's development. Guess my idealistic mind wants to shortcut to the part

That's the kind of lifestyle business I dream of finding myself into. Except maybe I'd want it less involved with customer service, but roughly similar. Somehow that's much more appealing to me than heading the next big buck

Seriously, I would think too. Although I agree that maybe Motel 6 broke a law and should be held responsible for that, I'm also pretty sure that ICE fully knows and abuses of their position to extort information illegally out of people

Never thought I'd get "the feels" watching a video about wasabi. But I really salute the initiative of making such a nicely done video to showcase a dying(?) local artisanal practice. I think young people would find a lot mor

On a 20h+ flight to Australia, I guarantee you, you will want it any possible minute shorter. Not even mentioning how shorter travel time could help with Jet-Lag. I can see many reasons why we may want to push both in the 1 and 2 categorie

I wonder if that's because Alibaba is mostly a marketplace and they sold $25B worth of stuff with a margin of 5-10% on it, meaning they'd only have generated ~1-5B for themselves on that day.

In the middle of LA and I only have 2 providers, 20mbps from ATT or 60 from Spectrum aka TimeWarner. Realistically I get ~50mbps from TW. I know that the LA area has TONS of internet access issue, where only newer buildings might get fiber.
