Terrible idea. Most of the time I just want to charge stuff, which any old USB-C mostly works fine for up to like 60 watts. And very few peripherals actually need more than like USB 2.0 speeds.

Doesn’t that waste a lot of electricity though given all those tabs are loaded? Do you have to buy higher end laptops to accommodate that workflow?

Something like a better screen, wireless, camera, weight reduction, ports, gaming initiative, I don’t know, something more exciting than just a spec bump.

Neat! And you can use the spreadsheets’ functions to add MIDI effects like scale mode, arpegiattors, etc.

Bing Chat is built entirely with Web Components. (I work at Microsoft on it. You can verify with F12.)

DALL-E within ChatGPT uses GPT-4 to rewrite what you ask for into a good text-to-image prompt. You could probably do something similar with Stable Diffusion with just a little upfront effort tuning that system prompt.

It is, the images are all “courtesy of Apple.” Why else would a pro photographer with good gear travel to cool places with professional lighting equipment and then take the photo with an iPhone?

Yea anything that unnecessarily updates the screen has lots of unexpected power consumption effects. For example, it might prevent the CPU or display itself from entering lower power modes. Everything in modern systems is super optimized fo

Do you know if anyone has tried training a text-to-music or text-to-midi model where the training data includes things like emotion labels for each note interval or chord progression?

You still can create a progressive web app and submit it to the Microsoft Store. Essentially the same as Win8 web apps but better since PWA’s use a Chromium-based web view. You don’t get native controls though.

Let me make it easy for you, if you want it to look and feel native on Windows 11, use WinUI 3. ChatGPT gives a decent summary of the history of all that: https://chat.openai.com/share/6478dcdd-98d3-449a-84be-be5666...
