You have to run it on every repository you want this in, don't you? At least, that's what I understood.

You don't go to Arch for the UI/UX. I have used Windows, Mac, and Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch). My experience with Arch (i3wm) has been vastly superior to anything I have used before. I would not trade it for anything. The thi

Sorry to hear you were robbed 10k. I'm not sure how much we can solve the robbing problem with surveillance. I can talk a bit about the typical robbing that occurs in the more touristic places in the city. The police is very much aware

Erlang is not particularly performant, and it seems like what the top comment is describing requires something faster.

Well, it's rather obvious that an IQ measures how good you are at completing IQ tests. The question is whether IQ is good predictor of success in whatever kind of work you are doing. If it is, then I can't blame them for making yo

This really resonates with me, especially the constant context switching and only being able to do tasks that provide immediate reward. That said, I've always gotten the impression that this is something that a lot of people, with or w

Your last sentence is interesting. As a vim user, I've always regarded emacs as having a much better ecosystem. The only plugins that I've found superior in vim are those related to text editing (for example, new operators).

You have a great standard library; you don't need manual memory management, because this is an introductory course; the error messages are admittedly bad, but not that terrible if you are not using templates. I'm not particularly

What's so bad about using C++ as a first language? My college uses C++, and I'm very happy that they did so. Transitioning into higher-level languages is very easy, and at no point while I was learning the language did I think &qu

Haskell is so far the language that has blown my mind the most, and it's not even close. Admittedly, I haven't learned that many (esoteric) languages (I found Prolog very peculiar, for example), but if you have never done any func

This comes at the best time possible. The last couple of days I have been contemplating giving this framework a try. Does anyone have any experience using ASP.NET Core under Linux and running it in production? If so, would you recommend it

A few weeks ago I was interested in this project, too, and looking around I came across this link. The author's profile also points to the AsciiFlow website, so I assumed that would be it. I think you might have misread the language; i

I haven't looked much into WebAssembly, but regardless of the native language that you use, your app will be cross-platform without having to put any extra effort, won't it? This solves one of the biggest pain points of native GUI
