Do you have a commercial option? Does anyone know good alternatives? What forecast models do you use for Australia?

As a farmer in Australia, I use yr all the time as a alternate model to our BOM. It's proven to be very good for rainfall forecasts.

Angular is boss. I love having a powerful opinionated framework that has business logic separated from ui so well. Long live Angular.

Yes but we all work differently. I love to come up with ideas as I build. It doesn't scale well with a team, but can allow you to be quite creative to start building something without everything planned. Maybe I am alone on this one.

This describes me. I can also get a high power genset, Chinese built but brand name, for fairly cheap. It's old tech.

I am just about to have a 3 phase 30kva diesel generator installed on our farm for backup power. Multiple people had asked me, why not get a big battery? I honestly hadn't thought it was a viable option. Not sure. I want to power two h

I'm hearing it already start to reverse in Sydney at least. So a bunch of people bought houses up the coast thinking they could work from home after covid pushing value of houses up and commercial down. But turns out people can't

SPA movement has given us nice frameworks to build mobile apps in Ionic. I wouldn't build a website with Angular but combine Angular framework and the million libraries in npm gives a pretty powerful ecosystem to quickly build very hig

I use Flutter as a way to host a sqlite and business logic and render all UI in a local webview for this reason. Just testing now, but works OK.

I am windows user since windows 95. But it has slowly become a mess since it's peak at Windows 2000. I am currently testing macos. I bought a Mac mini. First thing I learned is that my existing monitor just won't work perfectly ca

It looks really useful to me. I am someone that deploys projects to $10 VPS using digital ocean guides for some minimum security setups. Never had a problem. I'd probably buy this if and when it is offered as paper. I don't really

Hyperscript can help with this. https://hyperscript.org/ Makes using a bit of JavaScript relatively simple, just not much in Stack Exchange yet which means reading docs..

Xps 17 is 1200x1920, 16:10. It's a great ratio and at 17 inch I don't use any scaling in windows and everything looks right size for my eyes. Can upgrade ssd and I've changed out memory to 64gb. It's a great rig but fans

I agree. I read the title and immediately thought the pitch would make sense. Such repetitive nature like automation in farming. There will be edge cases though and they will be hard just like in farming.

Without studying it too hard, I think this could work well in geospatial python. Often an output has several input datasets that flow into each other that leads to a final output. I guess model builder is similar solution but its in the qgi
