I don't know about the Amiga stuff, but as PowerPC board for running Linux looks great: "The e5500 is a superscalar, dual-issue core with out-of-order execution and in-order completion. It maintains the seven-stage, four-issue p

As curiosity it is great. BTW, if POSIX thread implementation is not good enough in the default C library, it should be revised instead of everyone rewriting stuff for each specific Unix-like flavour. Rationale: Platform-specific goodies ar

I've found a video of Overdrive 2 demo running on an emulator [1]. It is curious/interesting how different/broken is in the emulation vs the real hardware. [1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ3AsZp-yTA

In my opinion, Apple should buy TSMC (~100 billion) and Qualcomm (~100 billion). It would be a hell of competition for Intel and AMD, now that Moore Law seems to reach its limits.

Edge browser is very fast on low-end devices (e.g. Bay Trail Intel Atom), with super smooth scroll, and very responsive UI. Better experience than Chrome and Firefox, on devices with 1GB of RAM.

RetroUSB AVS is not a full hardware implementation, but a cartridge reader + software emulation, i.e. you'll have over 30ms delay (16.6ms * 2), because of framebuffer synchronization.

Few can do real programming work over 30h a week. If you force people, you'll get fake work. Specific individuals can work more, by themselves (challenge, pride, try to show whatever, etc.), but are the exception. And of course, that e
