In my opinion, Apple should buy TSMC (~100 billion) and Qualcomm (~100 billion). It would be a hell of competition for Intel and AMD, now that Moore Law seems to reach its limits.

If Moore's law has reached its limits then what's the point of buying them? Apple can do something on its own, the technology of these makers will won't be worth in the long term anyway.

At that point I'd expect the EU antitrust (and, in a sane climate, the US ones) to be all over that.
