Just a hunch: on the iPhone the app applies the filters in realtime while taking the picture. Does it do that on Android too? If yes, the requirement might be on the GPU. Do the other apps on Android do it?

I never knew about the distinction either. But if interpreted that way 6 ÷ 2 (1 + 2) should then translate to 6 / (2 * (1 + 2)) = 1 I guess this only reaffirms the fact that the expression is ambiguous.

True, but WebDAV clients are nowhere near the perfect user experience that the proprietary Dropbox client provides (at least on OS X and Linux, I don’t know about Windows).

I don't like people here dismissing the ideas in Svbtle because of the smugness of its author. I agree with everybody else that Dustin presented it in a very elitist and smug way, but that doesn't discount the fact that the ideas are good.
