Perhaps there will be a return to the roots. The new redesign of Bangalore airport is very much in line with an East Asian vision and I hope that carries over into the rest of the city. That being said, I'll still bemoan the loss of th

I'll be honest, Mumbai is still very scenic, and I say that as someone from Kerala. Marine Drive and the Colaba area really have a very Bombay-days vibe even after all the changes in the area. While Sealink does ruin the sea views a bi

Ambitious Keralites move out of the state to set up businesses. The ones who remain usually get rich through a mix of unethical businesses, political party connections and corruption, or the gold and money-lending businesses (which were inh

Bangalore today is a shadow compared to the Garden City it once was. For outsiders not in the know, Bangalore was famous for its beautiful lakes and the lush greenery around them. It was absolutely something else, finding these beautiful wa

The Catholic church once decided which kings and princes could marry which queens and princesses, which alliances would be allowed and which wouldn't. Now it's nothing but a shadow of its former self.

Exactly. It's like saying healthcare is big business in America when it's because it's unnecessarily bloated and super inefficient only due to America's own idiosyncratic quirks and regulatory capture. Like there are cou

I think you got it wrong. There isn't a feed that people can see when they log in. There's just profile pages, like walls on Facebook. Someone can see your content if they go to your wall, but they won't be fed your content.

I previously cofounded a miltech startup in the US (as a foreigner), and have currently funded a European-based one (again as a foreigner). Nothing big, although we were able to exit the first one at a good-enough situation via an IP sale (

Are we forgetting the original one, Ronald Reagan? Guy was a literal middling actor, whose only claim to fame was snitching on Communist sympathizers in Hollywood when it was cool.

You don't need VC level skills, just a healthy dose of common sense pragmatism, something which SF leadership has consistently lacked for decades now.
