I think it’s supposed to be an alternative to Flink SQL/Table API. The important part of Apache Flink is the stateful streaming and fault tolerance characteristics of Flink. This is not an alternative to Flink as a distributed runtime

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, why do these news apps like this one or Prismatic in 2014 not work in the english speaking market but in the Chinese market Toutiao was a massive success for bytedance? What is the difference that

Can you talk a little bit about the crawler or what information are you feeding the agent about the repostory? My main concern is that this is just hallucinating the documentation and that with the more well known repos like React it can pu

It’s kind of strange their benchmark for “Machine Learning Programmers” is “Simulation of Dynamical Systems in MATLAB.” Seems like they could have capitalized better by using a generative ai inference benchmark.

Any details on CodeModService? I’m curious cause I was just reading about Rosie from google. There’s not really much public info on large scale code mod tools.

It’s not tech in general that’s slower moving, but rather that software development is slower moving today (in my opinion). To launch a minor feature at a modern tech company you need to: - pitch your idea to your manager and get alignment

I think it’s more so that when you are an expert in a particular system and you have very little bureaucracy/overhead in any particular task you’re able to get a lot more done. I was watching a video from one of the creators of Fallout

I started to go down a line of thinking where I think we might see a return to books in the next 3-5 years. The reason is that with a book it’s a big collection of knowledge and people can post reviews about the quality of the book whereas
