This seems to be https://github.com/mozilla/readability/pull/853#issuecomment... and I think their expectations are pretty reasonable.

They wrote "You still need to do a lot of work to get it production ready". So I would say it's not much better than real colleagues. Especially since junior devs will improve to a point they don't need your hand holding

The current frontend still has the same XPCOM privilege access from JS, so as emiliocobos said, XUL vs. HTML does not change the security boundary. It's only a different markup language.

Tell me what "getting access to a device" exactly means? Is it reading some data, all data, changing some state, etc? Compare that with an api that asks "Are you ok to disclose your location to example.com?" or "Do

Then they should pool funds to pay consulting companies like Igalia to implement these features.

uBlock Origin does a bit more than applying community maintained filter lists though. I regularly use its capability to add custom filters for instance. Is that also possible in Brave?

Yes, it's been a struggle to ship newer version. It looks like they are preparing a new release based on gecko 123 ( https://github.com/kaiostech/gecko-b2g/blob/gonk/config/mile... ).

Ladybird is not closer than Servo from achieving anything, because the wpt tests scores are not that relevant sinc they are not weighted by any usefulness factor. The Ladybird team are very good at marketing themselves but their technical c

I guess they are talking about KaiOS, which had initial success, shipping on more 100M devices in India. Unfortunately they have been struggling to expand outside of India and even in India these days since their partner (Reliance Jio) is n

This was not a full Firefox, just a basic demo browser to showcase the port that TedM did. It was not even submitted to the app store.

Where did you get that this is "linux phone" project? Because if you spend enough time to read about it, you'll find that it's esp32 based running a RTOS and a custom app suite. Really matters to read what you comment on
