Plain old racism/xenophobia and sexism was very common and still is to some extent, though it is not as socially acceptable as it used to be. So I find it odd to only consider anti-white bias you encountered while ignoring any discrimi

I'd be interested in any example where this approach would produce an invalid executable. I have used this without issues, but of course I have certainly not tried this in every possible environment.

How are collections in C# worse than in Go? In C# you have LINQ, in Go you're writing for loops around array slices.

VS Code has a C# debugger on Linux. There are certainly limitations to the open source C# support in VS Code, but for students it should be easily sufficient. If you want a language where not only the core and main libraries are open source

The only parts that are noticeably Windows-centric are some of the tools around .NET. The older tools are Windows-only, you can't get Visual Studio on Linux. For ASP.NET there is nothing Windows-specific in there I've noticed.

The main difference here is the sophistication of the investor, and the people this article is about clearly did not fully understand the risk they were exposed to. Molly White posted a whole bunch of letters to the Court on Twitter related

It's more insidious than that. In a field where the core subject is difficult to handle it is nothing unusual if a different lab cannot recreate known experiments on their first try. This doesn't mean anything is wrong with the or

When I started reading the article I thought the title was a bit click-baity for Science. But then I noticed that the theory it refers to was not the amyloid hypothesis itself, but the toxic oligomer hypothesis that emerged later. That theo

There is some small benefit to playing column tetris if you have columns with different sizes that waste space due to padding. I'm not convinced this would be worth the complexity of this feature, but in some cases reordering columns m
