I've got an M2 Air, can't say I've experienced any of the performance/visual issues you describe. Design wise...is a different story of course

No, you can't. It will import and re-export every cell, not just the one you modify. This includes interpreting dates and rounding numbers that exceed Excel's max value (instead of interpreting as a string) They have a small banne

>it'll last you more than two years An M1 Mac should last double that, easily - so long as you don't underspec it. My family has multiple November 2020 M1 MacBook Airs that are still working good as the day we got them.

Excel will just silently modify everything and "save" it back as a CSV. I would rather that both Excel and Numbers only saved to CSV as an Export option.

Numbers opens the CSV file, gives the user a screen to control import settings, and supports exporting as a CSV with custom delimeters. Excel does save back to CSV. It discards half your changes because they can't be saved in a CSV, mo

You're right, Excel does save back to CSV. It discards half your changes because they can't be saved in a CSV, modifies anything that could possibly be a date, and rounds random numbers, THEN it saves it as a CSV.

If they actually kicked people out, not just say "please put your phone away" people would learn it's not okay. The only reason people do it is because they don't think they'll get in trouble.

I did misinterpret the point of issue. However, lets say that California couldn't seize PG&Es assets directly (transmission lines, etc.) - that doesn't really matter as California can force PG&E's hand, given that t

From iTunes? I specifically refer to iTunes. iTunes is the de-facto Music and Movie purchase platform (not referring to any subscription services).

What you linked to does not affect what I described. It only affects ability to redownload the file. If you still have the movie, it keeps working. Originally, one couldn't even re-download a movie after purchase.

Well, a subscription service is literally a subscription access, of course. If you buy an iTunes movie and keep the downloaded file (there is a single file), it works so long as you retain an iTunes account (it is DRM protected, that DRM

This is a big reason why macOS snapshots your disk before an update. If you ever have a problem, reboot to recovery mode and you'll see a "Restore backup" entry from just before your update that will instantly revert the syst

macOS never interrupts the user, for example. Even if you click the install button, if you (X) out of the "restarting" notification it won't restart/install the update.

macOS does very little to favor Safari. It provides identical resistance to changing defaults to Safari as it does changing defaults from Safari.
