You should team up with the people who wrote zonopjebakkes/seatsinthesun, which is used for finding bars and cafes that have terraces that are still in the sun, mostly useful in late summer afternoons as the evenings are getting shorte

In Dutch, the word for four is also the word meaning "celebrate." I feel like this would make a nicer confusion however :)

This is a great book, I'd also add that the TV (BBC I think) mini-series does a surprisingly good job at getting the atmosphere of it.

I remember covering that at university, I don't think in too much depth, just enough that a few years later at my job I needed to do some parsing of equations and immediately knew the name of what I needed to use. I then proceeded to e

I also just gave it a go. I live in Amsterdam where biking is pretty much the dominant mode, and it wasn't great. I told it to take me to a place in the north of the city (over a river), and it gave me directions over a bridge which is

It's not quite the same, but in Google Maps you can switch the language of the app itself. I use this to get navigation not butchering street names into unrecognisability while the rest of my phone is English. It does do the whole navi

The carbon dating thing is odd. To start with, "able to draw DNA evidence using radiocarbon dating" is a sentence that makes no sense to me. Secondarily, I wouldn't think that you could apply radiocarbon dating in a meaningfu
