It's primarily for deduping subdependencies in your dependency tree, the existence of which is not an indication of any problems – it's totally expected that your dependencies might themselves depend on the same libraries.

Well, this isn't the The Only Way to Build Apps Playbook. It only mentions webpack because that's what we use exclusively at Formidable... it's our playbook. :) And the TOC shows that many more non-webpack sections are comi

If you just want these to show up on GitHub specifically, you can use the friendly names like `:ring:`, `:art:`, etc. Then there's no Unicode anywhere but GitHub will still show the emoji. That's how `atom` committers do it.

This isn't for setting up webpack (which you usually do once), but rather running it continuously in development mode. At Formidable it's normal for us each to have several long-running webpack-dev-server instances going at once,

I think this will happen if you skip the "Turn off errors" part of the instructions: https://github.com/FormidableLabs/webpack-dashboard#turn-off... – did you catch that part?

In my experience [1], you'd probably just use an if statement that does something different when you're on the server. That's totally fine and is still a universal app; universal apps don't have to take every exact same

Not sure about the perf difference between DOM elements and component elements, but the primary reason would be: let's say later on you decide each <kbd> should have a className, or a little tooltip helper, or a title attribute,

Surely highlighting it on the server is the waste in this case? The library is only 2174 bytes (not even gzipped). Let's say you used the smallest markup possible for each highlighted token. Something like <i class="x">

AFAIK Radium actually no longer generates inline `style={...}` attributes but `<style>`s at the appropriate places instead.

I see this a lot: that people creating CSS-in-JS libraries just don't know CSS well enough to solve their problems. I work with the people who created Radium. They made it because they are extremely experienced CSS developers and do
