The above is true, but there are caveats. Under the hood, Office is constantly saving back to Sharepoint and trying to merge changes. If it can't merge changes it will simply alert the user and give the option of abandoning their chang

The section on Australia is not bad although seems a little dated. But thumbs up is not a rude gesture and "i'm stuffed" means either worn out or full, depending on context. Definitely not pregnant.

Visa/Mastercard use a DMS or dual-message system that is basically a digitisation of the paper-based "click-clack" machines, possibly with a phone-based pre-authorisation. The first message is the auth which comes online. Thi

Conflicting inputs are handled by averaging and an audible "DUAL INPUT" cockpit warning. In the case of AF447, the co-pilot used his "Priority Takeover" button which meant only his control inputs were in effect.

The 737 and 757 (and 707 and 727) all have exactly the same fuselage diameter, the 757 is merely longer. Seat pitch is determined by the airline. I agree with you about the re-engining though. Seems Boeing might have pushed the 737 airframe

I very much doubt this is true. Just as a sanity check, the A380 has slightly more than double the fuel capacity (320 kL vs 156 kL) of the A350, and carries twice as many people. At least at maximum fully loaded range, the fuel per seat is

It didn't secretly average inputs. The plane gave alerts both visual and audible (DUAL INPUT) that the pilots were providing conflicting inputs. I agree that the force feedback of the Boeing FBW system is better, but the pilots should

The Airbus competitor to the 767 is the not the A350, it is the A330, which is ubiquitous outside of NA in the medium haul market. It has been an extremely successful plane for Airbus and will likely continue to be so with the A330neo. Whil

An A380 has about 1,400 kN available from its four engines. A twin engine A380 would need two engines developing at least 650-700 kN just to get off the ground. For reference, the GE9X being developed for the 777X develops 470 kN. To make

This is technically true, but in practice planes are designed for or or two seating configurations. For example you're always going to have wider seats in an A320 than a 737 because no airline is going to configure their 737s 5-across.

Yes, the A380 has the same ~6,000 ft equivalent cabin pressure as the 787, compared to older jetliners that maintain ~8,000 ft.
