Many times it comes down to personal approach too. Believe me, I have zero patience for corporate environments and I'm not afraid to rock the boat because I've been fortunate to never have to care about losing a job. It's a g

Yes this is the best approach IMO. CYA (cover your ass) by explaining the risks, take backups (file & db) and push the hotfix. Sometimes you have to work with what you got while moving toward an ideal. You then sell them the version con

Yeah unless you wrap console log you just do this: window.console && console.log('debug msg'); In older Android versions, warnings in modern versions actually crash React Native apps. Can be very frustrating.

I think you're spot on about Angular 1. I really like Angular myself despite that transition issue but I also like React and Vue. I currently use Angular for larger web projects (it's more complete out of the box), Vue for smaller

Yeah and the interesting thing is it uses a lot of Symfony components. The Symfony components are really high quality themselves but I strongly dislike the framework.

Valid point for sure. But also points out the flaws of property taxes. Teachers and other vital services should come from consumption taxes or other means. Owning a home and having it become more unattractive over time while you have paper

Seriously. The countries with terrible work conditions and poor records with humanitarian rights could care less about pumping trash into the ocean? That should shock nobody. Who are these apologists?

Good points. I enjoy VueJS and AngularJS, thought I wouldn't like JSX and React but React and React Native have surprised me. However, Redux looks overblown for most use-cases and takes all the fun out of it. For some cases you can jus

That type of thinking has pushed entrepreneurs and businesses to move to more friendly and competitive states. It's simply a bad policy to start aspiring small businesses in debt. $800 isn't much to many of us on here but it is fo
