   I got it actually, they reimplemented ODB-II in a more stable manner to provide better stability and performance, ELM327 is the only player on the field and provide less CAN busses (they are just not connected at all)

    There no need to use Ubuntu if you can use debian. Debian is almost same and very light. Ubuntu doesn't feels like this.

    Funny thing is that Android removed in 5.0 animations in status bar to save power as redrawing frequently will eat battery.
