Not really, since f"" is a string and t"" is a template, you could make `db.execute` only accept templates, maybe have `db.execute(Template)` and `db.unsafeExecute(str)`

I think you're missing part of the author's point. Yes, as adults, we are bound to "cause some pain" as you put it in some mundane situations, such as cancelling a plan that someone else has been looking forward to. But

Even though it is ageing and could be cleaner, the subway in Paris is amazing to get you anywhere in the city. Add to it buses, trams, bikes + very well connected train stations, and you have a very good public transport.
