I've seen controlled burns being done in California in past. Not sure what is new. Maybe state vs federal properties?

My 2600 sounds incredible although I have no idea whether its sounds like the original. I also have their Neutron which is a great original design. I hope they focus more on original designs in the future.

It doesn't really matter why someone wants to match a negative literal. Its unexpected behavior and should either be documented as part of the language design, or fixed because its a bug.

Personally I'd rather have a linnstrument https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDTikW1BFt8 instead of something mixes a DAW with a controller. Logic running on an Ipad would be more powerful.

I like Elm but there are some things that would make life easier and not add much cognitive overhead, like updating nested records for instance. The current syntax wouldn't even need to change.

Regarding Go, it didn't have generics until recently, partly because some of the community didn't think it was beneficial. They've been nothing but positive in our project as we've been able cut down on substantial amoun

I just use a DAW like I used a four track recorder back in the 80's. Put down a drum beat, bass line, guitar and voice individual tracks. Then do some light processing. A lot of times, I'll copy paste the music then go back and pl

Ableton is really expensive. Logic is just as good if not better, and much cheaper.

I agree. Part of what sucks about websites is that everyone is trying to things differently. When I see a hamburger menu, I know what it does. It would take me a long while to figure out your site's navigation sits at the bottom of the

Exactly. You probably live in the same house for 20 years while you're raising kids. How long do you stay at a job?

Bummed as well. Just got into fishing a few years ago. Was going to get a fishing kayak this spring for catching salmon off the coast but now I guess I'll wait.

If you're referring to social security, that money is not free at all. People pay into the system for 40-50 years so they can get a fraction of it back in retirement. Regarding college inflation, that's purely caused by young peop

All these company games just seem like a way to get people to do more work. In addition to doing your regular work, you now have pressure to score really high cudo points on your presentation. Can't just throw together some bullet poin

This is every weekend. Also, kid soccer practices are about four times a week and too far to walk or bike. Soccer games on the weekend can be 60 miles away. The grocery store is eight miles away. I sense that the no car advocates are single

My brother bought a house in Fremont next to an apartment building. Had nothing but trouble with the neighbors; loud noise, trash around, tons of traffic in front of his house. He eventually had to move.
