Not too many updates on the blog, but the mailing list archive can be found here: http://lists.macromates.com/textmate/ Not strictly development updates, but Allan is responding to things there (subjects are marked with [TM2]). If there's

Same here. I didn't have nightly builds checked so I'm only just now getting the latest version, but it's been working fairly well. The bugs aren't enough to prevent me from using it for most things but there are times where it's annoying (

I feel the same way about Xcode as you do about BBEdit. I've really tried to get into it but every time I just fall back to TextMate. Would you mind elaborating a bit on what you use Xcode for?

TextMate junky here, but I sure appreciated BBEdit trials every do often way back when I relied on Macworld discs to try new software. It was my go to application for a kid learning HTML/CSS.

It ships with IE8 AFAIK but my copy was a dusty old uni OEM (still got the regular box and code though) which is the only explanation other than a completely shot memory. Some programs not launching right after install lead to a 12hr upgrad

You're right, I haven't used version 10 so much as it isn't installed on my Windows partition. Barely one year ago I installed Windows 7 which for some reason still came with IE7, which I promptly upgraded to IE8. IE9 came out which I skipp

Re: Blackboard. I also think it's quite interesting in this regard, although the largest obstacle is obviously privacy/security. If Facebook were to spin off some of its .edu ventures (encroachments?) with terms more amenable to university

If they cost $2, then sure. The more people who try to snatch their own, the more spammers and squatters will be vying to get their place. Maybe it'll fare better than .info. If however they end up being the same cost as a .com/net/org, I d

Many of those UIs end up being pretty clunky– the home interface for example. Sure, you get a little more information (good for webpages and maps as shown) but at what cost? If they were to modify the aspect ratio to expand the screen while

Wow, this is really cool. I've been working on something similar for a little while now but it isn't nearly as developed or interesting. The only issue I have is the pricing model, which is fair but takes a little bit away from the product

Look you up? I read the article, if that's what you mean. I use a static site generator as well, I was just curious as to why you wouldn't recommend that instead since it's powering your own site. I don't disagree, it just seemed odd.
