If the "innovations" in Android were already covered by prior patents; they weren't innovations at all, were they? Not necessarily my point of view, but isn't that how patents should work? Protecting prior art.

Question: each 'server' is made up of cheap commodity hardware - but is the storage side of things handled elsewhere? YouTube alone takes 2 days worth of new video every minute - and stores multiple bitrate versions and the source video.

Most interesting that signups increased despite the only route to sign-up being 'below the fold' - users didn't mind scrolling through the whole thing to see the call-to-action. Some gaze plots on Nielsen's site show people only allocate 20

I'm not sure it is a "move by Apple" - Adobe have had months of access to Lion (like every developer in the world) and didn't bother to check or patch incompatibilities. Sloppy Adobe.
