SpiderMonkey has something that we call ExpressionDecompiler [1]. Basically it allows us to decompile some subset of the JS bytecode. Fun fact: At some point in time SpiderMonkey could actually decompile all bytecode and this is how we used

As one of the biggest Firefox contributors, I am actually annoyed by how bad this decision is from a technical point of view as well. We have already seen malware that just replaces the Chrome binary to avoid add-on checks, but somehow this

Seems like they also deliver this with an HTTP 200 status. So Firefox actually tries to parse the error page as JavaScript.

Maybe Adobe Flash doesn't work with pure Wayland, but needs X? So with Shumway you wouldn't need an X compositor (at least for Flash)

Host and cert verification by default is good. You can use tls_config_set_ciphers to set a cipher string, but I don't see if they disable unsafe ciphers by default.
