Wouldn't this mean a lot of extra, cross-platform development of the "Flock enhanced" features? Wouldn't they have to re-develop all of these features for each platform's GUI toolkit, instead of just a single XUL codebase? Nevermind the reg

SwellJoe, I wasn't trying to knock Linux. I was just talking about my experiences regarding why I made the switch. It's great to hear that your experience has been more positive. I'm happy that you've found your groove in Linux, and I've fo

Before switching to a Mac, I was a Linux user for years and years. I use a Mac simply because I feel OS X is the better operating system. Linux has made strides on the desktop but when push comes to shove, it's just not "there" yet. I'm sur

I would barely call some TechCrunch comments "controversy". That site has some serious youtube-style lowest-denominator-of-society commenting going on. The troll to constructive comment ratio is like 9:1.

It's not up to Justin.tv to ask for an age: it's up to the site that actually displays said pornographic content. It's their business and their responsibility. Btw, after trying out the redirect, there is in fact no "pornographic" material

I was going to say-- without Modules, Procs, or Blocks, it's not really Ruby, now is it? :P Still, a ~2000 sloccount makes this a neat and succinct little piece of software, so grats to the author.

Wow, I can't even begin to tell you how misinformed you are. Rails is not geared towards web apps, and Django is not geared towards web sites . Both tools are what you make of them; just because Django includes a built-in admin interface

I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally see Ticketmaster under the gun for this. Over the summer when Radiohead came to Toronto, it was literally seconds before Ticketmaster was "sold out" and redirecting users to TicketNow for tickets
