I remember you could generate Notepad from the MFC wizard in Visual Studio 6.0. With menus and all... Notepad++ is different.

H1 does not lower employee power. I came on H1, got laid off within one year and then had to change companies again in 6 months. I could do it just fine.

Staffing companies should not be able to bring people. Only direct hires. This will fix H1 and will not require increasing cap and such.

And where is Vulcan standard? Windows games use DX. iOS is Metal. Android Open GL, ES, etc. Gaming consoles have proprietary APIs. I would very much prefer games to use Metal on macOS (Starcraft2 is much smoother on the same hardware)

Dune2 did not require mouse, keyboard all the way. Same as with Early FPSes (I played Doom, Heretic and Duke Nukem 3d on keyboard)

CnC was a Dune successor. Red Alert was a CnC spin-off. Warcraft (one) was a Dune2 clone with crappy pathfinding. But they did add ability to give orders to multiple units at once!

No. Companies that matter are MS (they are still pushing DirectX), Apple (Metal or bust), Sony and Nintendo (each console has its API). Without full platform owner support Vulcan will be a second class citizen with all kinds of performance

Chromium is a ridiculously optimized and extremely flexible runtime. Qt is ok for basic UIs, but once you need to do custom draw, "modern" animations (supported by CSS) - Chromium will be much more approachable and faster.
