Consider a similar tasks that are practiced by thousands of professionals daily: Live translation, flying a plane while talking to ATC, playing music while talking. Some people find these things nearly impossible, but with enough practice i

It beats figuring out which of the 5 typical buttons are up/down/left/right, in my opinion. It's only the build quality that seems to be the issue, not the concept

For anyone who also thought that was a weird way to say the stat, it's £2,000 upfront and £4,000 a year for one person. It does seem awfully high. Donating blood costs way less. Maybe the treatment they're saying the cost for is t

That doesn't negate their point. Starlink satellites still pass over Africa regularly and completely. The only caveat I'll say is that starlink generally requires ground stations to provide connection at scale. So it's not 0

There's a little bit of feedback: Each belt has a rotary encoder to track position, and the motors apply positive torque rather than positive position. This is in contrast to how stepper motors work on a 3d printer, for example.

Why tune anyway? Isn't the job of speakers and earphones to reliably reproduce the sound that the person who produced the track wanted? The only tuning that should be done by default is to compensate for the form factor or the room, su

If you want to have different preferences, bookmarks, extensions etc. set for different profiles. For example, I might want to allow 3rd party cookies on a work profile but not on a personal profile.

I'm not convinced, both android and iPhone have a feature that shows you when it's recording microphone or camera [1] [2]. Moreover, those things require app creators to request microphone and camera access. If this happens, it&#x
