If #2 os true, then why don’t any of the other similar app or features of other apps work as well as TikTok from a technical standpoint? My experience with TikTok is that purely from an execution standpoint of showing a video, being able to

This * 100. I have a lot of experience with these types of apps and the biggest issue I've encountered is the platform keeping up with native technologies and OS updates.

I disagree. Native apps usually don't have annoying popups especially to the extent that the web does. Saying there's "no" difference isn't being genuine.

This argument has existed since native apps were first introduced. One of the problems I see now is how horrible and frankly broken browsing the web can feel, especially on a mobile device. With all of the cookie confirmations due to GDPA a

Possibly as some sort of protest, but also rememebr that Spotify and Netflix already don’t pay Apple’s tax and YouTube is free (or at least most people probably use the free version). I think companies want to go where users are and if and

And it’s not just Amazon. This is now the way the web works. In fact, on mobile most of the linked article becomes hidden beneath a WaPo Black Friday ad and a Google ad.

I still use Sublime for when I want to visually edit each line of large text files. I find the performance to be superior to alternatives, but it’s been a while since I’ve done a comparison.

I had the exact same experience. I'm in my early 40s now and had never done any woodworking a single day in my life and never even had really used any type power tool other than maybe a drill. Early in the lockdown, my wife and I decid
