I bought Make: Electronics in paper format and have had absolutely no trouble acquiring all the components separately. The trick is to order from $0.99 Chinese eBay sellers and have patience to wait a few months for all the mail to arrive.

I think Firefox is a great example here. It has a simple UI to guide the user into finding and setting the most common options. That UI must be as simple as possible for new users and can be changed regularly, according to the changing need

Just a quick note about dependency management: we use "go get" to download / update dependencies, integrate / test, and then just include them all in the project's git repo. Never had an issue.

Holy cr*p on a cracker! 150 layers? It boggles the mind. How do you even start propagating over 150 layers? Do you assign specific functions / targets to some of the inner layers?

Someone should write a virus that replaces the ASUS logo with Goatse, if the damnable thing really is upgradable from within the OS. That should be enough to make them take security seriously (and not really hurt anybody.)

It's very simple actually. Consider, for brevity, a mortgage where the monthly or yearly payment, including taxes, is equal to the rent you would be paying for the same place. Then live in the place and go about your life for several y

If you consider how much money is embezzled / stolen by (most) corporations by avoiding paying taxes for all the services they benefit from, in the countries they operate in, this seems a very good feature.
