Now items will be completely assembled in China before they are imported. This will just shift even more production to China.

No, you are wrong. If you put all of your money into the S&P500 only at the absolute, single worst possible day (the market top on May 16th, 2008 at $1,425) you would still be up about 100% today, 10 years later at $2,779 (So about 2X,

This is going to sound harsh, but that bad investment advice for most people. US Bonds and Cash appreciate less than inflation, so you're actually losing money. The same is true for gold, which has historically underperformed vs. S&

Would you have a particular reference for this? I have read that the Apple ARM chips are more power efficient than comparable ARM chips powering Android devices.

They lose a lot of information artificially classifying a continuous variable (% change) into 3 bins (high/medium/low) instead of trying to do regression on percent change. This incorrect practice is surprisingly prevalent in deep

Numerous important biomedical findings have resulted from GWAS. Most GWAS today are inherently reproducible since their hits usually come from multi-stage designs with independent samples. Sample sizes are no longer "incredibly small&q

I have a hard time believing that the spread is inflated. The SEC would not allow that. I agree the app could be better, but then again, is it really a wise decision to research companies through your Broker's phone anyway?

25% of all Tesla stock is out on loan according to the first Google result for "Tesla short" [1] Assuming most stocks on loan are due to shorting, 0.25*50 Billion (Tesla Market Cap)= approximately 10 Billion being shorted. 1. ht

I'm highly familiar with details of vascular supply. My point is that you have to weigh benefits of getting calcium there rapidly vs. potential harms of radial artery occlusion.

Nowadays they usually use the internal mammary artery. But if they did harvest the RA I don't think it would be possible to inject, let alone spasm :)

I wonder why they were so worried about radial artery spasm. If it closes off, you still have sufficient collateral circulation via the ulnar artery. This happens not infrequently in procedures where you catheterize the radial artery.

No need to replicate saliva. The DNA extraction chemistry wouldn't depend on saliva components.

It's trivial to replicate even very small amounts of DNA. They don't actually need very much DNA, they just ask for that much to ensure it will work.
